Shawn Geegbae spent his childhood and formative years living in Northern Virginia. At Syracuse University, Shawn became a member of the national service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega and was selected as a Ronald E. McNair Achievement Scholar. While he pursued graduate studies at Syracuse’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Shawn served as a Teacher’s Assistant. In 2005, Shawn graduated with a B.S. in Finance and later worked on Wall St. as a commodity broker. Shawn is the author of Winning at the Money Game. He talks about the combination of teaching the fundamentals of basketball and financial literacy.
